Scientific Revolution  change human understanding of the world and led to the Industrial Revolution , a major transformation of the world economy. Scientific Revolution of the 17th century gave little direct impact on the  technology industry, but after the mid-18th century scientific advances Began to be Significantly applied in practical invention. The Industrial Revolution Began in  Great Britain  and used new modes of production- factories ,  mass production , and  mechanization -to produce products more quickly intervening and in large quantities, and employ fewer workers than ever before. Enlightenment also leads to the beginning of  democracy  in the modern  American Revolution  and  the French  at the end of the 18th century.  Democracy  and  republicanism  then grow and provide great impact to  quality of life  and major events in the world.

In 1762, when the  Seven Years' War  raged, the French secretly handed over most of the territory it claims in North America to Spain in the  Treaty Fontainebleau (1762) . Thirteen British colonies declared independence as  the United States  in 1776, ratified by  the Treaty of Paris (1783) , and ends at  the American Revolutionary War .  Napoleon Bonaparte  of France recaptured claims of Spain in the  Age of Napoleon's wars  in  the 19th century , but sold it to American States as  the Louisiana Purchase  in 1803.

After the Europeans (especially  the UK  and  Spain ) and occupation influence over the continent of  America , the activity of  imperialism in the West finally turned to  the East  , and  Asia . In the 19th century, European countries experiencing social and technological progress than countries in the east.  Maratha Raj  in  India  fell to the British in 1818, under the power of the  British East India Company , and the rest of the former Maratha and Mughal empires melt into  the British Raj  in 1858.  Britain  gained power over  the Indian subcontinent ,  Egypt , and  the Malayan peninsula ;  French  took over Indochina , while strengthening his power over the Dutch  East Indies . Many emigrants  England  occupied  Australia ,  New Zealand , and  South Africa , while  Russia  occupied the region  of Siberia  are not familiar with agriculture. The end of the 19th century, the power of European countries divided up the area colonized Africa. In Europe alone, the economic and military challenges created a system of  nation-state , and ethnolinguistic groupings began to be used to recognize the identity as a  nation  which is different from the aspirations of  autonomous  cultural and political.  Nationalism  sort it will be important for other tribes in various parts of the world when  the century 20th .

During the Industrial Revolution, the world's economy dependent on  coal  as fuel, after the discovery of a method  of transportation that is new, such as  railways  and  steam ships , which makes the world seem more narrow. On the other hand,  pollution  industrial and  environmental damage that has existed since the discovery of fire and the beginning of civilization increased dramatically.

Progress that developed in Europe during the mid-18th century there were two: cultural  entrepreneurship , and prosperity acquired through trade lanes  of the Atlantic (Including the  African slave trade ). The end of the 16th century,  the silver  obtained from the American continent has enriched the Spanish Empire. The advantage of  the slave trade and plantations in  the Caribbean  accounted for only about 5% of the British economy when the Industrial Revolution. Some historians have concluded that in 1750, labor productivity  in the most developed areas in China is equal to the Atlantic economy of the European nations, but other historians like  Angus Maddison  manyatakan that productivity per capita in  Western Europe  since the late  Middle Ages has surpassed any regions in the world.
